Every month of the year is divided into two halves, we call those halves which are called as Paksha.
These Pakshas are :

साल का हर महीना दो विभाग में बंटा होता है,उन विभागों को हम पक्ष कहते हैं | ये पक्ष दो प्रकार के होते हैं :

1) कृष्ण पक्ष / Krishna Paksha -

When the Moon gradually disappears and on the 15th day when disappears completely, we call it Amavasya. Whereas this part of 15 days is called Krishna Paksha.

जब चंद्रमा धीरे-धीरे लोप होता जाता है और 15 वें दिन पूरी तरह लोप हो जाता है जिसे हम अमावस्या कहते हैं। जबकि इस 15 दिन के भाग को कृष्ण पक्ष कहते हैं।

2) शुक्ल पक्ष / Shukla Paksha -

After the second day of Amavasya, the moon begins to appear again and on the 15th day it becomes visible in full size. Which is called Poornima. Whereas part of these 15 days is called Shukla Paksha.

अमावस्या के दूसरे ही दिन से चंद्रमा फिर से दिखना शुरू होता है और 15 वें दिन पूरे आकार में दिखाई देता है। जिसे पूर्णिमा कहा जाता है। जबकि इन 15 दिनों का भाग शुक्ल पक्ष कहलाता है।

शरद पूर्णिमा क्या है? / What is Sharad Purnima?

On every new moon, the moon is not visible at all and the darkness of the night becomes darker. Whereas on a full moon the moon is visible and all the directions are illuminated with light. Fasts and festivals are observed on these 12 full moons throughout the year. But one of these major Purnima is celebrated which is called Sharad Purnima. This year Sharad Purnima is being celebrated on 09 October. Lord Lakshmi Narayan is specially worshiped on this day.

हर अमावस्या पर चाँद बिल्कुल भी दिखाई नही देता और रात का अंधेरा अधिक गहरा हो जाता है। जबकि पूर्णिमा पर चाँद पूरा दिखाई देता है और सारी दिशाएं रोशनी से उजियारी हो जाती है। साल भर की इन 12 पूर्णिमाओं पर अलग-अलग व्रत और त्यौहार मनाए जाते हैं। इन्हीं में से एक प्रमुख पूर्णिमा मनाई जाती है जिसे शरद पूर्णिमा कहते हैं। इस वर्ष शरद पूर्णिमा 9 अक्टूबर को मनाई जा रही है। इस दिन भगवान लक्ष्मी नारायण का पूजन विशेष रूप से किया जाता है।

कब मनाई जाती है शरद पूर्णिमा | When is Sharad Purnima celebrated?

शरद पूर्णिमा हर साल अश्विन मास की पूर्णिमा को मनाया जाता है। इसे कुमार पूर्णिमा,कोजागरी पूर्णिमा,रास पूर्णिमा के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। कहते हैं कि पूरे वर्ष में सिर्फ इसी दिन चंद्रमा 16 कलाओं से युक्त होता है जिसके दर्शन से चन्द्रदेव की विशेष कृपा प्राप्त होती है। ऐसा भी माना जाता है कि चन्द्र देव के दर्शन के वक्त उनकी चांदनी से जीव शरीर में अमरता के लक्षण आ जाते हैं और कई प्रकार के रोग ख़त्म हो जाते हैं।

Sharad Purnima is celebrated every year on the full moon day of Ashwin month. It is also known as Kumar Purnima, Kojagari Purnima, and Ras Purnima. It is said that on this day only in the whole year, the moon is full of 16 arts, whose vision gives special blessings to the moon god. It is also believed that at the time of the darshan of the moon god, due to his moonlight, the symptoms of immortality come in the body and many types of diseases are eradicated.

खीर बनाने का महत्व / Significance of making Kheer on Sharad Purnima

शरद पूर्णिमा के दिन व्रत रखकर महिलाएं शाम के वक्त खीर बनाती हैं जिसे रात भर चंद्रमा की दूधिया रोशनी में रखा जाता है और दूसरे दिन खाया जाता है। कहा जाता है कि शरद पूर्णिमा की रात को अमृत रस बरसता है इस वजह से पूरी रात चाँद की रोशनी में खीर रखने से उसमें अमृत रस बरसता है। जिसे खाने से स्वास्थ्य मजबूत होता है और कई बीमारियों से छुटकारा भी मिलता है। कई खीर के स्थान पर रबड़ी भी पकाई जाती है।

क्या है पौराणिक महत्व / What is the mythological significance -

पौराणिक कथाओं के अनुसार इस दिन कुमार कार्तिकेय का जन्म इसी तिथि को हुआ था, इसलिए इस दिन को कुमार पूर्णिमा कहा जाता है। जबकि भगवान कृष्ण ने राधा जी के साथ पहला रास इसी तिथि को मनाया था इसलिए इसे रास पूर्णिमा भी कहते हैं। इस दिन माँ लक्ष्मी का आविर्भाव हुआ था इसलिए इस दिन उनकी विधिपूर्वक पूजा करना बेहद शुभ माना जाता है। इस कारण से शरद पूर्णिमा को कौमुदी या कोजागर पूर्णिमा भी कहते हैं।
शरद पूर्णिमा के दिन कई स्थानों पर जागरण करने का बहुत महत्व माना जाता है, ऐसी मान्यता है कि पूर्णिमा की पूरी रात माता लक्ष्मी भगवान विष्णु के साथ पृथ्वी पर भ्रमण करती हैं और अपने भक्तों को अभय वर देती हैं। इसलिए पूरी रात जागरण करके लोग भक्ति भाव से भजन और कीर्तन के आयोजन करते हैं और भगवान विष्णु और लक्ष्मी जी का आवाहन करते हैं।

Whereas Lord Krishna celebrated the first Raas with Radha ji on this date, hence it is also called Ras Purnima. Goddess Lakshmi was born on this day, so worshiping her methodically on this day is considered very auspicious. For this reason Sharad Purnima is also known as Kaumudi or Kojagar Purnima.
Jagran is considered to be of great importance at many places on the day of Sharad Purnima, it is believed that on the whole night of the full moon, Goddess Lakshmi travels the earth with Lord Vishnu and gives blessings to her devotees. That’s why after awakening the whole night, people organize Bhajans and Kirtans with devotion and invoke Lord Vishnu and Lakshmi ji.

वैज्ञानिक कारण / Scientific Reason-

हर हिन्दू पर्व के पीछे एक वैज्ञानिक कारण जरूर होता है। शरद पूर्णिमा मनाने के पीछे का वैज्ञानिक कारण यह है कि ऋषियों ने बहुत सोच समझ कर इस दिन दूध से बने खाद्यान्न, जैसे- खीर को पूरी रात खुले आसमान के नीचे रखने का विधान तय किया है। क्योंकि दूध में मौजूद लैक्टिक अम्ल और चावल में स्टार्च होते हैं जो चाँद की रोशनी से मिलकर उस खीर में कुछ अलग तरह के औषधीय लक्षण पैदा करती है जिसे खाने से रोगप्रतिरोधक क्षमता बढ़ती है और स्वास्थ्य पर सकारात्मक असर होता है। वहीं एक वैज्ञानिक शोध के अनुसार शरद पूर्णिमा की रात कम से कम आधा घण्टा से एक घण्टा चाँद की रोशनी लेनी चाहिए इससे श्वसन तंत्र मजबूत होता है और त्वचा रोग में आराम मिलता है। वहीं दूध से बने पकवान को चांदी के बर्तन में रात भर रखकर सुबह खाने से से रोग प्रतिरोधकता बढ़ती है और शरीर के विषैले तत्व खत्म हो जाते है।

There is definitely a scientific reason behind every Hindu festival. The scientific reason behind celebrating Sharad Purnima is that the sages have very thoughtfully decided to keep food grains made of milk, such as kheer, under the open sky for the whole night on this day. Because there are lactic acid present in milk and starch in rice, which together with the light of the moon produces some different medicinal symptoms in that kheer, eating it increases immunity and has a positive effect on health. At the same time, according to a scientific research, at least half an hour to one hour of moonlight should be taken on the night of Sharad Purnima, it strengthens the respiratory system and provides relief from skin diseases. On the other hand, keeping a dish made of milk in a silver vessel overnight and eating it in the morning increases immunity and eliminates the toxic elements of the body.

शरद पूर्णिमा पूजा विधि / Puja Vidhi -

शरद पूर्णिमा के दिन दैनिक क्रियाओं से निवृत्त होकर स्नान करना चाहिए, फिर मन में संकल्प लेकर लक्ष्मी नारायण का उपवास रखना चाहिए,पूजा घर या मंदिर में जाकर माँ लक्ष्मी और विष्णु जी की पूजा करनी चाहिए और पूजा का संकल्प लेना चाहिए। इसके बाद गौरी गणेश का आवाहन करके उनकी स्तुति करनी चाहिए। इसी तरह लक्ष्मी नारायण का भी आवाहन करके पूरे श्रद्धा भाव से चंदन,कुमकुम,अक्षत,पुष्प,फल,पान,दक्षिणा,नैवेद्य,धूप,दीप से पूजा करनी चाहिए। इसके बाद हाथ पुष्प और अक्षत लेकर कथा सुननी चाहिए। इस दिन खोवा और खीर बनाकर भोग लगाना चाहिए। इसके बाद लक्ष्मीजी और विष्णु जी के 108 नामों से हवन करनी चाहिए। फिर उनकी आरती करके प्रसाद ग्रहण करना चाहिए।

After this, Gauri Ganesh should be invoked and praised. Similarly, Lakshmi Narayan should be invoked and worshiped with full devotion with sandalwood, kumkum, akshat, flowers, fruits, paan, dakshina, naivedya, incense, lamp. After this, the story should be heard by taking flowers and Akshat in hand. On this day, Khova and Kheer should be made and offered. After this, Havan should be done with 108 names of Lakshmi and Vishnu. Then after performing their aarti, prasad should be accepted.

Celebrated 2 days before Deepawali, this festival is celebrated all over India.
It is said that by bringing vehicles, metal items or ornaments, household items, etc. to the house on this day, wealth always remains in the house. On this Lord Dhanvantari Ji, Mata Lakshmi, and Kuber are mainly worshiped on Dhanteras.

भारतीय संस्कृति के अंतर्गत वर्ष भर में अनेकों त्यौहार आते हैं। ये त्यौहार हमारे जीवन में शुभता तो लाते ही हैं साथ ही हमें अच्छे संस्कारो और सही राह पर चलने के लिए प्रेरित करते हैं।

हिन्दू धर्म के अनुसार वैसे तो हर दिन त्यौहार ही है पर हर एक त्यौहार को मनाने का कारण और महत्व को जानना हमारे लिए बहुत ज़रूरी होता है। इन्हीं त्यौहारों में से एक त्यौहार हिन्दू पंचांग के अनुसार कार्तिक माह के कृष्ण पक्ष की त्रयोदशी तिथि के दिन धनतेरस के नाम से मनाया जाता है। दीपावली के 2 दिन पहले मनाए जाने वाले इस त्यौहार को पूरे भारत वर्ष में मनाया जाता है।

कहा जाता है इस दिन घर में वाहन,धातु से बनी वस्तु या आभूषण,घरेलू सामान आदि लाने से घर में हमेशा धन सम्पन्नता बनी रहती है। धनतेरस पर प्रमुख रूप से भगवान धन्वंतरि जी,माता लक्ष्मी और कुबेर की पूजा की जाती है।

पौराणिक कारण / Mythological reason -

According to mythology, the ocean was churned between the demons and the gods to get the nectar urn, in which Vasuki Nag was churned for several days by making neti and Mandarachal mountain churn. 14 gems emerged from this ocean churning, after which Lord Dhanvantari appeared with the nectar urn. Hence this date is called Dhanteras. This nectar urn was filled with many medicines. Ayurveda was created in India. Hence this day is celebrated as “National Ayurveda Day”. Lord Dhanvantari had appeared with nectar in an urn, so people usually buy more utensils on this day.

Dhanteras is celebrated in Jainism as Dhyan Teras and Blessed Teras because Lord Mahavir went on his last meditation on this date and attained Nirvana on the day of Deepawali.

पौराणिक कथाओं के अनुसार राक्षसों और देवताओं के बीच में अमृत कलश को पाने के लिए समुद्र मंथन हुआ, जिसमें वासुकी नाग को नेति और मंदराचल पर्वत को मथनी बनाकर कई दिनों तक मथा गया। इस समुद्र मंथन से 14 रत्न निकले जिसके बाद भगवान धनवंतरी अमृत कलश को लेकर प्रकट हुये। इसलिए इस तिथि को धनतेरस कहा जाता है। यह अमृत कलश अनेकों औषधियों से भरा हुआ था। जिसके माध्यम से भारत में आयुर्वेद का निर्माण हुआ। इसलिए इस दिन को “राष्ट्रीय आयुर्वेद दिवस” के रूप में मनाया जाता है। भगवान धन्वन्तरि अमृत को एक कलश में लेकर प्रकट हुए थे इसलिए इस दिन आमतौर पर लोग बर्तन की खरीदी ज़्यादा करते है।

धनतेरस को जैन धर्म में ध्यान तेरस और धन्य तेरस के नाम से मनाया जाता है क्योंकि भगवान महावीर इसी तिथि को अपने अंतिम ध्यान पर गए थे और दीपावली के दिन निर्वाण प्राप्त किये थे।

धनतेरस का महत्व / Significance of Dhanteras

सनातन हिन्दू धर्म की मान्यताओं के अनुसार माँ दुर्गा को सृष्टि की जननी माना जाता है। अलग-अलग स्थानों पर अपनी-अपनी मान्यताओं के अनुसार देवी का पूजन किया जाता है।

पूरे वर्ष में चार बार नयी ऋतु के प्रारम्भ में देवी दुर्गा के नौ स्वरूपों की शास्त्रोक्त पूजन का विधान है। वर्ष में चार बार आने वाली नवरात्र में से अश्विन मास की नवरात्र को बड़ी धूमधाम से सामूहिक रूप से मनाया जाता है। जो कि अश्विन माह की प्रतिपदा तिथि से शुरू होता है और दशमी तिथि के दशहरा पर्व तक मनाया जाता है। नवरात्र के प्रत्येक दिन नवदुर्गा की विस्तृत पूजा की जाती है, जिसमे कठोर नियम और सावधानी रखी जाती है।

इन नौ दिनों में से आठवे दिन मुख्य रूप से देवी महागौरी की आराधना की जाती है, साथ ही देवी महालक्ष्मी और देवी महासरस्वती की संयुक्त पूजा शास्त्रोक्त विधि से की जाती है। इस दिन को महाअष्टमी या दुर्गाष्टमी भी कहा जाता है। इस वर्ष 03 अक्टूबर 2022 को शाम 4:37 बजे अष्टमी तिथि प्रारम्भ हो रही है। महाष्टमी के विधान को जानने के लिए पूरा पढ़ें।

क्या है महाष्टमी-

पुराणों की कथा के अनुसार देवी पार्वती के ही दूसरे स्वरूप का नाम महागौरी है जो उन्हें भगवान शिव से प्राप्त हुआ था। जब देवी पार्वती भगवान शिव को प्रसन्न करने के लिए कठोर तपस्या में लीन हो जाती है,जिससे उनका शरीर काला हो जाता है। तब भगवान शिव उनकी तपस्या से प्रसन्न होकर उनको गौर वर्ण प्रदान करते हैं। तब उनका नाम महागौरी नाम से प्रख्यात हुआ। उस दिन अश्विन मास की अष्टमी तिथि थी जिसके कारण इस तिथि को देवी महागौरी की पूजन की जाती है। माता ने उत्पाती राक्षस चंड और मुंड का वध अष्टमी को ही किया था।

क्या है पूजन का विधान-

माता की पूजन के लिए लोग पूरी शुद्धता का पालन करते हैं, पूरे दिन उपवास रखते हैं और अपने परिवार और कुटुंब के साथ माता महागौरी और अपनी कुलदेवी की पूजन करते हैं।

पूरे दिन सात्विकता का पालन करते हुए माता का षोडशोपचार पूजन किया जाता है। इसके बाद शास्त्रोक्त हवन किया जाना चाहिए। इस हवन से घर और वातावरण शुद्ध होता है जबकि इस पूजन के बाद व्यक्ति की बुद्धि और विवेक में सकारात्मकता आती है।

भक्त हो या साधक सभी को इस दिन माता के बीज मंत्र “श्रीं क्लीं ह्रीं वरदायै नमः” का अधिक से अधिक जाप करना चाहिए। इसके फलस्वरूप माता प्रसन्न होकर भक्तों को सुख-समृध्दि, तेज और सुंदरता के साथ साथ अभय वर प्रदान करतीं हैं।

महिलाएं अपने सुहाग की रक्षा के लिए माता को साड़ी और श्रृंगार के साथ सुंदर चुनरी अर्पण करतीं है।

कई महिलाएं अपनी संतानों की लंबी उम्र और अच्छे स्वास्थ्य के लिए अष्टमी को निर्जला उपवास रखते हैं।

इस दिन माता का उद्यापन भी किया जाता है और भोग में माता को नारियल और नारियल से बने पकवानों का भोग लगाते हैं। परन्तु खाने के प्रसाद के रूप में नारियल कभी नही दिया जाता।

कई लोग पूरे नवरात्र उपवास रखकर अष्टमी पूजन के बाद भजन,कीर्तन और उत्सव मनाकर भोजन ग्रहण करते हैं। जबकि कई लोग नवमी के दिन पारण करते हैं।

माता महागौरी अन्नपूर्णा का रूप मानी जाती है इसलिये इस दिन भक्त कन्या भोज आयोजित करते हैं। जिसमें कन्याओं को खीर और पूरी का भोज दिया जाता है। ऐसा माना जाता है कि कन्या के रूप में देवी स्वयं घर आती है और सुख समृद्धि का आशीर्वाद देकर जाती है।

मुख्य रूप से देवी के नौ रूपों का प्रतीक मानकर 12 से कम उम्र की 9 कन्याओं को सात्विक भोजन कराया जाता है। उसके बाद उन्हें श्रृंगार और चुनरी और दक्षिणा भेंट करके विदा किया जाता है।

सनातन संस्कृति की यह परंपरा पूरी दुनिया को कन्याओं का सम्मान करने का संदेश देती है। इस दिन बिना कन्या भोज किये कोई भी पूजा सफल नही मानी जाती।

नवरात्र की पौराणिक कथा-

माँ एक ऐसा शब्द है जो है तो मात्र भाषा का एक अक्षर, पर भावनात्मक अर्थों में शायद सबसे बड़ा है। किसी भी समाज,धर्म या देश में माँ को लेकर एक अलग तरह की भावना और सम्मान दिखाई देता है। भारतीय संस्कृति में प्रकृति के हर तत्व को आध्यात्मिक नज़रिए से देखा जाता है और यही एक बात हमारी इस महान परंपरा को सबसे अलग बनाती है। माँ के बिना जीवन का एक क्षण भी असहनीय और अकल्पनीय हो जाता है। आध्यात्मिक तौर पर माँ को विशेष रूप से पूजा जाता है,माँ को देवी और शक्ति का दर्ज़ा दिया गया है। जो इस सृष्टि का पालन कर रही है। सनातन परंपरा और पुराणों के अनुसार देवी के कई रूप माने गए हैं जिन्होंने नकारात्मक असुरी शक्तियों को मिटाने और धर्म की रक्षा के लिए सहस्त्रों रूप लिए। देवी के इन्ही रूपों में से प्रमुख 9 रूपों की उपासना करने के लिए हिन्दू धर्म में पवित्र नवरात्र का त्यौहार विशेष रूप से मनाया जाता है,जिसमे देवी लक्ष्मी,देवी सरस्वती और देवी दुर्गा के 9 रूपों की पूजा,आराधना और साधना की जाती है।

नवरात्र एक संस्कृत शब्द है जिसका शाब्दिक अर्थ ‘नौ रातें’ होता है। इसलिए नवरात्र के नौ दिनों में नौ देवियों की शास्त्रीय विधि विधान के साथ पूजा की जाती है, जबकि दसवें दिन दशहरा का पर्व मनाया जाता है। इस दिन भगवान श्री राम ने रावण से युद्ध में विजय प्राप्त की थी, इसलिए इस दिन को विजयादशमी के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। भारतीय सनातन परम्परा के अनुसार नवरात्र वर्ष में 4 बार मनाया जाता है, जिसमें से 2 बार गुप्त नवरात्र माघ और आषाढ़ मास में मनाई जाती है। गुप्त नवरात्र में माता की गुप्त रूप से पूजा की जाती है। भगवती की साधना करने वाले साधक सिद्धि प्राप्ति हेतु विशेषतः गुप्त नवरात्र में ही साधना करते हैं। जबकि चैत्र और अश्विन मास की नवरात्र को बड़े ही धूमधाम से और सार्वजनिक तौर पर भी मनाया जाता है।

नवरात्र का त्यौहार भारतीय हिन्दू परम्परा का सबसे बड़ा त्यौहार होता है जो कि वातावरण में सकारात्मकता का संचारक होता है।

देवी पुराण की कथा के अनुसार माँ दुर्गा और राक्षस महिषासुर के बीच नौ दिनों तक भयंकर युद्ध हुआ और दसवें दिन माँ दुर्गा ने महिषासुर का वध कर दिया। इस दिन को बुराई पर अच्छाई की जीत के रूप में मनाया जाता है। वहीं एक दूसरी कथा के अनुसार, भगवान राम ने लंका पर आक्रमण करने से पहले और रावण के संग युद्ध में जीत के लिए शक्ति की देवी माँ भगवती की आराधना की थी।

माँ दुर्गा का महिषासुर से पूरे नौ दिनों तक युद्ध हुआ इसी वजह से प्रतिपदा से लेकर प्रत्येक दिन देवी के नौ रूपों की पूजा की जाती है।

दुर्गा सप्तशती में वर्णित देवी कवच के अनुसार इन नौ देवियों के नाम इस प्रकार हैं-

इसके अनुसार नवरात्र के पहले दिन देवी शैलपुत्री, दूसरे दिन देवी ब्रम्हचारिणी, तीसरे दिन देवी चंद्रघंटा,चौथे दिन देवी कूष्मांडा,पांचवे दिन देवी स्कंदमाता, छठे दिन देवी कात्यायनी,सातवें दिन देवी कालरात्रि,आठवें दिन देवी महागौरी और नवें दिन देवी सिद्धिदात्री की आराधना की जाती है।

प्रथमं शैलपुत्री च द्वितीयं ब्रम्हचारिणी।

तृतीयं चन्द्रघंटेति कूष्माण्डेति चतुर्थकम्।।

पञ्चमं स्कंदमातेति षष्ठम कात्यायनीति च।

सप्तमं कालरात्रिती महागौरीति चाष्टमम्।।

नवमं सिद्धिदात्री च नवदुर्गाः प्रकीर्तिताः

नवरात्र के नौं दिनों का महत्व-

नवरात्र की नौ दिनों में तीनों देवियों – महालक्ष्मी, महासरस्वती या सरस्वती और दुर्गा के नौ स्वरुपों की पूजा होती है जिन्हें नवदुर्गा कहते हैं। प्रत्येक दिन की पूजन का एक महत्व है जिससे मनुष्य के सारे कष्ट और परेशानियों का निदान होने के साथ ही माँ की कृपा बनी रहती है।

प्रथम दिवस - शैलपुत्री (26 सितम्‍बर 2022)

जप मंत्र- ॐ देवी शैलपुत्र्यै नमः॥

श्लोक - वन्दे वंछितलाभाय चन्द्रार्धकृतशेखराम् | वृषारूढाम् शूलधरां शैलपुत्रीं यशस्विनीम् ||

नवरात्र की प्रतिपदा तिथि को माता दुर्गा की माँ शैलपुत्री के रूप में पूजा की जाती है। पर्वतराज हिमालय की पुत्री शैलपुत्री की पूजा करने से मूलाधार चक्र जागृत हो जाता है और साधकों को सभी प्रकार की सिद्धियां स्वत: ही प्राप्त हो जाती हैं। माँ का वाहन वृषभ है।

पर्वतराज हिमालय की पुत्री माँ शैलपुत्री को शैल रूपी वस्तुऐं यानी सफेद वस्तुऐं प्रिय होती हैं। इसलिए माँ की पूजा में सदैव सफेद पूजन सामग्रियों का उपयोग करना चाहिए। विधिवत पूजन करके माता को सफेद फूलों से सुसज्जित कर सफेद वस्त्र अर्पित करें। भोग में माँ को सफेद मिष्ठान, बर्फी और गाय के घी से बने पकवान निवेदित किये जाते हैं।

द्वितीय दिवस - ब्रम्हचारिणी (27 सितम्‍बर 2022)

जप मंत्र- ॐ देवी ब्रह्मचारिणी नमः॥

श्लोक - दधाना कर पद्माभ्यामक्ष माला कमण्डलु | देवी प्रसीदतु मयि ब्रह्मचारिण्यनुत्तमा ||

नवरात्र की द्वितीया तिथि में माँ के ब्रह्मचारिणी एवं तपश्चारिणी रूप को पूजा जाता है। जो साधक माँ के इस रूप की पूजा करते हैं उन्हें तप, त्याग, वैराग्य, संयम और सदाचार की प्राप्ति होती है और जीवन में वे जिस बात का संकल्प कर लेते हैं उसे पूरा करके ही रहते हैं।

हाथों में कमंडल और माला लिए माता ब्रम्हचारिणी का यह स्वरूप सर्वाधिक सौम्यतापूर्ण है, इन्होंने अपने तप से कई दैत्यों का संहार किया। माँ ब्रह्मचारिणी की शास्त्रीय विधि से पूजन की जानी चाहिये। तत्पश्चात इन्हें पीले या सफेद रंग के वस्त्र अर्पित कर गुड़हल या कमल के फूल चढ़ाने चाहिए तथा शक्‍कर व गाय के दूध से निर्मित पदार्थों का ही भोग लगाना चाहिए।

तृतीय दिवस - चन्द्रघंटा (28 सितम्‍बर 2022)

जप मंत्र- ॐ देवी चन्द्रघण्टायै नमः॥

श्लोक - पिण्डजप्रवरारुढा चण्डकोपास्त्रकैर्युता | प्रसादं तनुते मह्यं चन्द्रघण्टेति विश्रुता ||

तृतीया तिथि को माँ के तीसरे स्वरूप चन्द्रघंटा की पूजा की जाती है। इस रूप में मस्तक पर घंटे के आकार का आधा चन्द्र बना होने के कारण इनका नाम चन्द्रघंटा पड़ा तथा तीसरे नवरात्र में माँ के इसी रूप की पूजा की जाती है तथा माँ की कृपा से साधक को संसार के सभी कष्टों से छुटकारा मिल जाता है। शेर पर सवारी करने वाली माता सभी कष्‍टों को हर लेती हैं।

चंद्रघंटा का आशय है- जिसके मस्तक पर चाँद घंटा के रूप में शोभित है। नाम अर्थ के अनुसार चाँद शीतलता और ज्योत्स्ना का प्रतीक होता है। देवी चन्द्रघंटा को नारंगी रंग अतिप्रिय है। आराधक को इस दिन नारंगी रंग के वस्त्र पहनकर पूजन करनी चाहिए और माता को भी नारंगी वस्त्र और पुष्पों से सुशोभित करना चाहिए। माँ को पंचामृत, दूध, खीर, हलवा का नैवेद्य निवेदित करना चाहिए।

चतुर्थ दिवस - कूष्मांडा (29 सितम्‍बर 2022)

जप मंत्र- ॐ देवी कूष्माण्डायै नमः॥

चतुर्थी तिथि को अपने उदर से ब्रह्मांड को उत्पन्न करने वाली माँ कुष्मांडा की पूजा करने का विधान है। इनकी आराधना करने वाले भक्तों के सभी प्रकार के रोग एवं कष्ट मिट जाते हैं तथा साधक को माँ की भक्ति के साथ ही आयु, यश और बल की प्राप्ति भी सहज ही हो जाती है।

ब्रह्मांड को उत्पन्न करने के कारण इन्हें कूष्माण्डा के रूप में पूजा जाता है। कूष्मांडा का अर्थ संस्कृत में कुम्हड़ा होता है जो कि ब्रह्मांड के आकार का होता है और ये ब्रह्मांड के मध्य में निवास करती हैं। इसलिए इन्हें कूष्माण्डा कहा जाता हैं। माता को लाल पुष्प और कुम्हड़े की बलि प्रिय होती है। देवी कूष्मांडा को भोग में सफेद पेठा, दही और मालपूये अत्यंत प्रिय होता है।

पंचम दिवस - स्कंदमाता (30 सितम्‍बर 2022)

जप मंत्र- ॐ देवी स्कन्दमातायै नमः॥

श्लोक - सिंहासनगता नित्यं पद्माश्रितकरद्वया | शुभदाऽस्तु सदा देवी स्कन्दमाता यशस्विनी ||

नवरात्र की पंचमी तिथि में आदिशक्ति माँ दुर्गा की स्कंदमाता के रूप में पूजा होती है। इनकी पूजा करने वाले साधक संसार के सभी सुखों को भोगते हुए अंत में मोक्ष पद को प्राप्त होते हैं। उनके जीवन में किसी भी प्रकार की वस्तु का कोई अभाव कभी नहीं रहता। इन्हें पद्मासनादेवी भी कहते हैं।

भगवान स्कंद की माता होने के कारण माँ दुर्गा का यह रूप स्कंदमाता के नाम से जाना जाता है। स्कंदमाता कमल के आसन पर विराजमान होती हैं अतः इन्हें पद्मासना या पद्मासिनि भी कहा जाता है। ये सूर्य की अधिष्ठात्री देवी होती हैं इसलिए इनका पूजन नियमपूर्वक करने वाले साधकों में अलौकिक तेज का प्रवाह होता है। माता को केसरिया वस्त्र एवं पुष्प अर्पित करके विशेष रूप से काजू की बर्फी और केले का भोग अर्पित करना चाहिए।

षष्ठम दिवस - कात्यायनी (1 अक्टूबर 2022)

जप मंत्र- ॐ देवी कात्यायन्यै नमः॥

श्लोक - चन्द्रहासोज्ज्वलकरा शार्दूलवरवाहन । कात्यायनी शुभं दद्याद्देवी दानवघातिनी ॥

महर्षि कात्यायन की तपस्या से प्रसन्न होकर आदिशक्ति माँ दुर्गा ने उनके घर पुत्री के रूप में जन्म लिया और उनका कात्यायनी नाम पड़ा। षष्ठी तिथि नवरात्र माँ के इसी रूप की पूजा की जाती है। माँ की कृपा से साधक को धर्म, अर्थ, काम और मोक्ष आदि चारों फलों की जहां प्राप्ति होती है वहीं वह आलौकिक तेज से अलंकृत होकर हर प्रकार के भय, शोक एवं संतापों से मुक्त होकर खुशहाल जीवन व्यतीत करता है। माँ का वाहन सिंह है और इन्हें शहद अति प्रिय है।

दानव महिषासुर का संहार करने के लिए त्रिदेवों ने अपने अंश से एक परम शक्ति को जन्म दिया, सबसे पहले इनकी पूजा महर्षि कात्यायन ने की थी,इसलिए इनका नाम कात्यायनी रखा गया। माँ कात्यायनी का स्वरूप अलौकिक सौंदर्य और तेज से भरा है। इन्हें लाल गुलाब अत्यधिक प्रिय है इसलिए इन्हें लाल पुष्प और लाल वस्त्र अर्पित करना चाहिए। माता को शहद और पॉंच तरह की मिठाई का भोग अवश्य निवेदित करना चाहिए।

सप्तम दिवस - कालरात्रि (2 अक्टूबर 2022)

जप मंत्र- ॐ देवी कालरात्र्यै नमः॥

श्लोक - एकवेणी जपाकर्णपूरा नग्ना खरास्थिता | लम्बोष्ठी कर्णिकाकर्णी तैलाभ्यक्तशरीरिणी || वामपादोल्लसल्लोहलताकण्टकभूषणा | वर्धन्मूर्धध्वजा कृष्णा कालरात्रिर्भयन्करि ||

सप्तमी तिथि में सभी राक्षसों के लिए कालरूप बनकर आई मां दुर्गा के इस रूप की पूजा नवरात्र में की जाती है। माँ के स्मरण मात्र से ही सभी प्रकार के भूत, पिशाच एवं भय समाप्त हो जाते हैं। इनकी कृपा से भानूचक्र जागृत होता है। माँ का वाहन गधा है।

महाशक्ति का यह सातवां रूप नौ रूपों में सबसे अधिक विकराल है। इनका रूप अंधेरे से भी अधिक गहन है। जो भी साधक सच्चे मन से इनकी साधना करता है उसके सभी प्रकार के भय समाप्त हो जाते हैं। अपने रूप से उलट माँ सदैव अभय वर प्रदान करतीं हैं। इन्हें रातरानी का पुष्प बहुत प्रिय है। माँ को विशेष रूप से गुड़ का भोग अवश्य लगाना चाहिए।

अष्टम दिवस - महागौरी (3 अक्टूबर 2022)

जप मंत्र- ॐ देवी महागौर्यै नमः॥

श्लोक - श्वेते वृषे समारुढा श्वेताम्बरधरा शुचिः | महागौरी शुभं दद्यान्महादेवप्रमोददा ||

आदिशक्ति माँ दुर्गा के महागौरी रूप का दिन आठंवा दिन होता है। माँ ने काली रूप में आने के पश्चात घोर तपस्या की और पुन: गौर वर्ण पाया और महागौरी कहलाई। माँ का वाहन बैल है। मातारानी की कृपा से साधक के सभी कष्ट मिट जाते हैं और उसे आर्थिक लाभ की प्राप्ति होती है।

माता महागौरी शांत मुद्रा वाली देवी हैं। इनका स्वरूप अत्यंत गौर वर्ण का है। इनकी पूजा नवरात्र की अष्टमी को की जाती है। इस दिन सुहागन औरतें अपने सुहाग की समृद्धि के लिए देवी को श्रृंगार और चुनरी समर्पित करतीं हैं। पूजन के समय इन्हें पीले पुष्प और पीले वस्त्र अर्पित करना चाहिए। इन्हें नैवेद्य में हलवा जबकि भोज्य में काले चने से बने पकवानों और केसर की मिठाई का भोग लगाना चाहिए।

नवम दिवस - सिद्धिदात्री (4 अक्टूबर 2022)

जप मंत्र- ॐ देवी सिद्धिदात्र्यै नमः॥

श्लोक - सिद्धगन्धर्वयक्षाद्यैरसुरैरमसुरैरपि | सेव्यमाना सदा भूयात् सिद्धिदा सिद्धिदायिनी ||

नवरात्र के अंतिम दिवस पर माँ के सिद्धिदात्री रूप की पूजा एवं आराधना की जाती है, जैसा कि नाम से ही स्पष्ट है माता का यह रूप साधक को सभी प्रकार की ऋद्धियां एवं सिद्धियां प्रदान करने वाला है। जिस पर माँ की कृपा हो जाती है उसके लिए जीवन में कुछ भी पाना असंभव नहीं रहता। माँ सिद्धिदात्री कमल पुष्प पर विराजमान होतीं है जबकि इनका वाहन भी सिंह है।

सर्व सिद्धियाँ प्रदान करने वाली देवी सिद्धिदात्री कहलाती हैं। माता सिद्धिदात्री में अष्टसिद्धियाँ “अणिमा, महिमा, प्राप्ति, प्रकाम्य, गरिमा, लघिमा, ईशित्व और वशित्व” समाहित हैं। भगवान शिव का अर्धनारीश्वर रूप इन्ही के संग पूज्य है। इन्हें नौ प्रकार के फल एवं पुष्प अर्पित करना चाहिए जबकि भोग में नारियल, खीर-पुड़ी और हलवा निवेदित करना चाहिए।

The Lo Shu Grid is a 9 squares grid, consisting of 3 horizontal columns and vertical rows.
The square contains 1 to 9 numbers arranged in rows and columns.
The Chinese believe 15 numbers are lucky, that is why the addition of three numbers in each row and column, diagonally, the total is 15.
This 3*3 square is called Lo Shu Grid.

One day, the emperor was crossing the river and saw a turtle, whose shell was 3* 3 grid imprinted. That perfect 3*3 square was named Lo Shu Grid.

Types of horizontal planes

In The Lo Shu Grid, There Are Three Types Of Horizontal Planes Present-

Mind plane

The first horizontal line of numbers 4, 9, and 2 in the Lo Shu Grid is the intellectual plane or mental plane. This line represents the person’s intellect, and ability to think and analyze things. If a person has all three numbers (4, 9, 2) in the Lo Shu Grid, then the person will have a rational and logical approach to life. But if any number from 4, 9, or 2 is missing, the plane will be incomplete and the person can be deficient in memory or impulsivity.

Emotional plane

The second line of numbers 3, 5, and 7 make the spiritual or emotional plane. It represents the person’s feelings, intuition, and instinct. The presence of numbers in this line can significant heavy emotions. The repetition of Number 5 has a negative effect whereas too many 3’s. However, an excess of 7 is considered auspicious and spiritual. Too many 3, 5, and 7 in the emotional plane means analytical thinking is missing. If the numbers of the spiritual plane are not balanced by the numbers of the intellectual plane, then it indicates the person’s thoughts are from his heart.

Practical plane

Numbers 8, 1, and 6 are arranged in the last line and make the practical plane. Numbers 8, 1, and 6 (together or single) are prosperity numbers. The Lo shu grid is divided into three vertical planes as follows-

Thought plane

The first vertical row (Numbers 4, 3, 8) makes the thought plane. It tells about a person’s ability to think of ideas and how to implement those ideas.

Will plane

The middle vertical row (Numbers 9, 5, 1) makes the will plane. It tells about the determination and consistent potential to succeed.

Action plane

Types of horizontal planes

Diagonal planes of Lo shu grid-

Golden yog

Silver yog
